The Company Market leading Manufacturing/Wholesale business based in the SE suburbs of Melbourne. The role Reporting to the AR Manager, in this highly visible and integral hands-on end to end role, as part of a team of 3 you will own your own ledger, deliver superior levels of customer service and develop successful key internal/external relationships. Duties Full function AR Credit claims Managing large number of small and large National accounts (approx. 1000) Creating new accounts Managing credit queries with internal/external departments Maintain and monitor customer credit limits Identify and flag at risk customers re potential litigation Collections Managing large ledger (approx $5-10m) Allocations Journals Bank reconciliations Cash receipting Raising credit notes/returns Liaising with other departments re credit claims Other ad-hoc duties as required by AR Team Leader About you The successful candidate will have had experience in working in an AR Officer position for a minimum of 3 years, ideally at an organization within the Manufacturing, Wholesale/Distribution, or FMCG industries, however candidate from other industries are also encouraged to apply. You will have a proven track record in minimizing bad debt and maximizing collections. You will lead from the front in providing exemplary customer service and have an ability to build successful relationships with key vendors/suppliers and key internal stakeholders.
