About The Role
Sime Darby Motors Group (Australia) Pty Ltd, Sime Motors Australia, represents a diverse portfolio of renowned luxury brands. We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Executive to join the high performing Marketing team. With the support of the General Manager – Marketing, Communications and Customer Experience, this role will see you manage the planning, implementation and measurement of all marketing activity for the Volvo, Polestar and Geely brands. In this busy and varied role, you will be responsible for developing an annual marketing plan designed to achieve the business goals and targets for each dealership, including retail activity, events, partnerships, launches, corporate marketing and promotional activities.
* Identify, recommend and implement the most appropriate, and cost-effective marketing strategies and initiatives for maximising brand and product awareness.
* Deliver all marketing activities in line with the allocated budgets and time frames.
* Co-ordinate and manage all media activity, booking directly through each media group and maintaining relationships with each group to ensure our business is well maintained as a client.
* Co-ordinate and execute all database activity required for marketing activities, including downloading and cleansing time-based lists and actioning Head Office campaigns with database activity.
* Manage the composition and publication of various print media, communicative forms (mockup of creatives, chasing up content/listings), and artwork delivery in line with manufacturer guidelines.
* Manage and create all social media activity for Volvo, Polestar and Geely in line with campaign, brand expectations and approvals processes.
* Support the Corporate Sales Manager with all corporate marketing activity
* Report on campaigns and measure success of marketing activity.
About You
* 3 - 5 Years' experience in a Marketing position from within a retail and event management environment (luxury brand experience preferred).
* A recognised tertiary qualification in marketing/business management or similar
* Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
* Strategic capability and strong negotiation skills.
* Exceptional communication skills
Due to the nature of Dealership event activities, work outside normal office hours is occasionally required, including on weekends and evenings.
