The school is surrounded by luscious greenery and forms part of the vibrant, multicultural community of Piara Waters. The school commenced with Year 7 students in 2023, and presently has Year 7, 8 and 9 cohorts. In collaboration with the Principal and members of the leadership team, you will provide educational leadership within the school and the community, by developing and promoting the school's vision and values. The leadership team will evolve and develop as the school grows each year. This is an exciting opportunity to support a growing foundation school in a role that focuses on inclusive education, education support and quality teaching across the schoolThe successful applicant should be a strategic leader who is able to manage complex situations, provide support and direction to teachers and students and effectively manage resources. To be successful in this role, it is important to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support students with low to moderate education support needs. The successful applicant should have experience in Education Support operations including Special Education Needs Reporting (SEN RTP), Disability Resourcing, relevant policies and processes and the management and support of non-teaching staff. Experience in liaising with external agencies and service providers is highly valued. Knowledge, expertise and experience in the management of an Education Support setting will be advantageous for this role.You should have high standards of professionalism and be culturally responsive.
