Senior Risk Management Lead
The 1st line Risk Management Discipline plays a vital role across all business areas. This role will lead the way in real-time risk management by ensuring key risk indicators are well-defined and understood, incidents are effectively managed, MI and reporting packs are created, and risk & control assessments are completed.
This role can be based in our London office, but we're open to distributed working within the UK with ad-hoc meetings in London. Flexible working hours and a learning budget are provided each year for use on books, training courses, and conferences.
* Identify risks in real-time and ensure they are appropriately controlled, measured, and monitored.
* Proactively manage incidents, rate them correctly, and report them.
* Lead risk and control meetings, including MI and reporting packs creation, facilitate meetings, and ensure fast-paced risk decisioning.
* Lead RCSA activities and ensure change-based risk & control assessments are created and recorded with high accuracy.
* Making recommendations to improve control effectiveness or identify where new controls are required.
* Embed awareness of governance-related requirements, regulatory compliance deadlines, audit schedules, and policy updates.
* Monitor completion of risk-mitigating actions to address issue root causes.
* Facilitate compliance with policies and help to update them where necessary.
* Act as a key stakeholder to foster positive relationships across the three lines of defence.
* Troubleshoot to resolve incidents, issues, and/or regulatory requests quickly and within the correct boundaries.
