Job Description
This project is currently in the proposal stage, awaiting contract award.
The position supports Kellogg Brown & Root (KBR) Government Solutions in their joint defense program in Alice Springs, Australia. The successful candidate will represent International SOS Government Medical Services, Inc. and provide the following services:
International SOS is seeking an experienced General Practitioner dedicated to delivering high-quality healthcare and enhancing patient well-being across a diverse population.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide medical services comparable to those offered by the USG Facility Medical Officer during clinic hours and after hours as needed.
2. Obtain patient health history and perform physical examinations.
3. Diagnose and develop treatment plans for patients.
4. Prescribe medications in accordance with legal and professional standards.
5. Maintain detailed, problem-oriented health records for each patient.
6. Ensure continuity of care by providing timely medical services.
7. Deliver excellent customer service to patients.
8. Arrange referrals for services not available on-site.
9. Review and follow up on incoming reports such as labs, x-rays, and EKGs.
10. Update clinical protocols and practices as needed.
11. Participate in external medical relations functions.
12. Stay current with medical advancements through continuous learning.
Qualifications:
Skills and Knowledge:
* Strong clinical practice expertise and a team-oriented, patient-centered approach.
* Excellent communication skills and empathetic demeanor.
Work Experience:
* Minimum of five years as a general practice physician.
Qualifications:
* License to practice with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Physical Demands:
* Work typically performed in an office environment.
* Sitting and standing for extended periods.
* Bending, stooping, and lifting up to 15 lbs.
Other Qualifications:
* Must be a citizen of the US, UK, or Australia.
* Ability to relocate to Alice Springs, Australia, for the contract duration.
* Valid passport required and must be maintained during stay.
Additional Information
We are an equal opportunity employer. Compensation ranges from $200,000 to $250,000, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and bonuses. Final salary depends on experience, skills, and internal and market factors.
