Mecwacare is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Allied Health Assistant to join our growing team. This role involves assisting qualified professionals in implementing individual client programs, supporting therapeutic interventions and group activities, and ensuring compliance with mecwacare’s policies and procedures.
What you bring:
* Experience working in the Allied Health Services Sector
* Passion for supporting clients to reach their health and wellbeing goals
* Well-developed interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills including experience liaising with a wide range of individuals with varying capacity and needs
* Attention to detail, well developed prioritisation and organisational skills with the ability to multitask
* Strong customer service skills both in person and over the phone
* Accurate documentation management
* Commitment to maintaining confidentiality in all matters
* Certificate IV in Allied health Assistant or Equivalent
* Knowledge of the local area and services
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
* Current Australian Driver's Licence
