Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist to join our growing Community Rehabilitation team. As a Physiotherapist within the Community Rehabilitation Program, you will provide excellent client-centred rehabilitation services to clients both in their homes and at our rehabilitation centre. The clinical caseload is varied, creating a fantastic opportunity to develop expertise in working with a broad range of clinical diagnoses. The successful candidate will have access to a range of professional development activities.
Responsibilities
* Provide client-centred rehabilitation services to clients in homes and at the rehabilitation centre as part of the Community Rehabilitation Program.
* Work within an interdisciplinary team to support rehabilitation goals and service delivery.
* Engage in professional development and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
Qualifications Required
* Degree in Physiotherapy
* Current Registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia
* Eligible for membership of the APA
* Current Victorian Driver's Licence (unrestricted)
Key Capabilities
* Minimum three years' clinical experience in Physiotherapy
* Recent experience in rehabilitation or aged care
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team
* Demonstrated understanding and commitment to principles of continuous quality improvement
* Demonstrated ability to evaluate and modify service delivery in accordance with evidence-based practice
* Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills to promote teamwork
* Strong theoretical knowledge base and experience in the areas of orthopaedics, neurology and gerontology
* Demonstrated participation in professional development relevant to the position
