We are currently recruiting a Cargo Operations Specialist within the Exports team at Melbourne Airport.

Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering customer-focused cargo operations with emphasis on documentation, acceptance, and delivery of goods;
* Reporting and tracing, data entry in cargo systems, billing and invoicing of terminal service fees;
* Preparation of pre- and post-operational documentation, flight reports, and flight files;
* Reception duties as required, ensuring adherence to Australian Customs, IATA Regulations, Department of Agriculture, Department of Transport and Regional Services requirements;
* Ensuring the safe operation of equipment, machines, and vehicles, and reporting any incidents immediately.
Able to work independently but also as part of a team when required. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with governing bodies.
Requirements:
* Must be signed off on EK and other airline-based systems;
* Have good time management skills;
* Able to do flights independently but work in a team-based environment when requested by your supervisor;
* Strong communication skills to interact with governing bodies.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
* Australian or New Zealand citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency;
* Be willing to undergo a Pre-employment medical test and an Australian Federal Police Security check;
* A valid driver's license for some roles;
* Basic-Intermediate computer skills;
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written);
* High level of customer service skills;
* Available to work on a rotating roster.
