Overview

Our team is looking for a high-impact Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our sales organization. This isn’t just about hitting call numbers; it’s about strategically identifying, engaging, and qualifying high-value target accounts to generate significant pipeline and fuel Okta's continued market leadership. If you’re a proven outbound prospecting expert with a hunger for exceeding targets and a desire to work on complex, enterprise-level opportunities, we want to talk to you.

What You’ll Do (Your Impact):

- Spearhead Strategic Outbound Prospecting: identify and engage key decision-makers within target enterprise accounts using multi-channel outreach (call, email, social selling, video).
- Generate High-Quality Pipeline: qualify, nurture, and convert prospects into sales-ready meetings and opportunities for our elite Account Executive team.
- Become an Okta Evangelist: articulate Okta’s value proposition and how our solutions address business challenges and deliver outcomes for enterprise clients.
- Collaborate for Success: partner with Account Executives, Field Marketing, and Product Specialists to develop targeted campaigns and ensure seamless deal progression.
- Data-Driven Execution: manage your pipeline with Salesforce and Outreach to track engagement and identify insights for improvement.
- Exceed Expectations: consistently achieve and surpass quotas for qualified opportunities and pipeline contribution.
- Represent Okta: act as a brand ambassador at industry events (virtual and in-person) and expand the network of opportunities.
- Mentor & Lead: share best practices and potentially guide more junior team members.

What You Bring (Your Expertise)

- Proven SDR/BDR Track Record: 1 year of outbound prospecting success in a B2B tech environment (ideally SaaS or Cybersecurity), with a history of exceeding targets.
- Master of Outbound: expertise in messaging, cold calling, objection handling, and sales engagement platforms (e.g., Outreach, SalesLoft).
- Exceptional Communicator: strong written and verbal communication skills for senior-level interactions.
- Strategic & Results-Oriented: self-starter with a hunter mentality and ability to develop and execute strategic prospecting plans.
- Consultative Approach: active listening and ability to align customer needs with solutions.
- Tech Savvy: proficient with CRM (Salesforce preferred) and sales productivity tools; quick to learn new technologies.
- Resilient & Adaptable: thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and navigates change well.
- Organizational Prowess: robust time management and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Compensation

- Base: $88,200 + Superannuation
- Commission: $37,800
- OTE: $126,000
