The Role
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our dynamic team at Atlas Steels Shepparton. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our valued clients, providing excellent customer service and driving sales growth within your portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
1. Proactively manage and grow an assigned portfolio of client accounts
2. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets
3. Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
4. Negotiate and close sales contracts while ensuring profitability
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences
6. Maintain accurate records and provide regular reporting on account activities
7. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within your client base
What We're Looking For
1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar account management or sales role
2. Strong negotiation and customer service skills
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
4. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing client accounts
5. Familiarity with the steel industry .
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
