The Opportunity
Our client is an ASX listed business, join a growing, complex organisation in a highly visible and commercially impactful Finance Analyst role.
Working within a collaborative finance team, you will play a key part in delivering critical insights across financial performance, supporting operational leaders, and improving reporting capability.
This role is well suited to a technically strong and analytically minded finance professional who enjoys partnering with the business, driving improvements, and contributing to budgeting, forecasting and broader commercial decision‑making.
The Challenge
Reporting to a senior finance leader, your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing monthly management reports, including analysis of financial performance against budget and forecast
* Completing month‑end accounting including reconciliations, journals, and project reporting
* Supporting half‑year and full‑year statutory reporting requirements
* Delivering budgeting and forecasting across key functions and projects
* Providing commercial insight, variance commentary, modelling and trend analysis
* Completing cashflow forecasting and ad hoc commercial analysis (including business case modelling)
* Partnering with Finance, Operational, Sales and Project teams to improve performance outcomes
* Supporting ongoing systems and process improvement initiatives, including reporting enhancements
* Contributing to integration activity and M&A support where required
* Assisting with internal and external audit requirements and ensuring robust financial controls
The Expertise
Please consider expressing interest if you possess:
* Degree qualifications in Accounting with CA/CPA (or CFA)
* Strong financial modelling capability, including advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI
* Experience in budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting and business partnering
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights
* Excellent communication skills, strong stakeholder‑engagement capability and a continuous‑improvement mindset
* Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively and meet required deadlines
