Join to apply for the Site Manager role at Bendigo Advertiser. Make a meaningful impact as a Site Manager leading our Williamtown Supported Independent Living (SIL) service. This is a full-time, permanent role (Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm) reporting to the Cluster Manager. You will empower Support Workers to deliver quality care to clients with complex mental health and psychosocial disabilities, including those with a history in the criminal justice system. You will drive productive processes, champion risk management, and create a safe, supportive environment where clients can achieve their independent living goals.

Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor Support Workers with consistency and professionalism
- Promote person-centred, active support that empowers client choice and control
- Stay connected through two billable shifts each week
- Oversee daily operations of SIL accommodation services
- Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive setting for staff and clients
- Support NDIS plan development and client independence
- Manage performance and resolve conflicts effectively
- Encourage reflective practice to drive continuous improvement
Requirements
- Qualification – minimum Cert 4 equivalent in Social Services or relevant domain (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Disability, Mental Health, Community Services)
- Knowledge of disability legislation and standards (NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework; National Standards for Disability Services)
- NSW Driver’s License
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- NDIS Worker Check and Working with Children Check
- If you have lived or worked in another country within the last 10 years, a certified International Police Check may be required
