**ABOUT THE ROLE**
TAFE NSW are seeking Casual Teachers of Chemical Technology to join the team based at the Granville Campus. The role is responsible for a range of activities, which supports a culturally diverse group of learners in the face-to-face delivery of both the Certificate IV and the Diploma.
The role is responsible for a range of activities which enhances the student learning experience. As a professional educator you will skill the workforce of tomorrow by constructing and guiding the educative process in the classroom environment. In the role, you will use your industry experience to deliver educational programs and facilitate practical learning.

**ABOUT YOU**
To succeed in the role, you are passionate about sharing your knowledge and industry experience to ensure that your students are set up for success. You have demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with stakeholders including colleagues, industry, and students. You are self-driven and disciplined individual, who can manage high workloads and competing demands within a dynamic and flexible work environment.
To be successful in this role you must:
- Hold the minimum level of a Degree in Science (specialising in pathology or chemistry), or equivalent.
- Have a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years relevant, and post-qualification, experience in industry relevant to your qualification/s. With the ability to understand the content of the learning materials and the processes used in the discipline.
- Hold the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or the TAE40110 qualification with the required additional upgrade units, or higher-level qualification in adult education.
