Roadworx is seeking Mechanical Engineering Technicians to work on diverse projects across NSW in an onsite capacity.ResponsibilitiesCarry out maintenance repairs and modifications on machinery and equipment.Perform regular tests, inspections and maintenance of equipment and machinery and collect test data for analysis.Prepare mechanical diagnostic reports; provide feedback to relevant work units.Coordinate and supervise the inspection and maintenance of machinery being carried out by external contractors.Install, replace or repair major equipment components, mechanical assemblies and hydraulic control systems.Maintain and update records of work performed on machinery and equipment.Interpret technical drawings and identify appropriate tooling and techniques to implement modifications or repairs.Maintain high standards of practice and adherence to Quality Assurance and safety management.Order and collect mechanical parts, equipment and tools.Train other staff members on correct operating procedures for equipment.Onsite callout and breakdown problem solving, troubleshooting and repairs.RequirementsRelevant qualification in technical Engineering (desirable).
Minimum 3+ years of experience in the similar role.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and diagrams.Experience in troubleshooting hydraulic systems.
