A prominent Federal Government department is seeking multiple Senior Network Engineers to deliver critical ICT initiatives. The successful candidates will secure a 3‐year contract and receive rewarding hourly rates.
The successful Senior Network Engineers will be responsible for, but not limited to:
* Leading network planning and design activities to meet service levels.
* Applying detailed knowledge of enterprise networking technologies to complex environments.
* Managing change processes to ensure continuity during installations and integrations.
* Building and sustaining relationships with diverse stakeholders across technical and business areas.
* Mentoring and guiding technical teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
* Analysing complex network engineering issues and recommending courses of action.
* Overseeing installation, upgrade, operation and control of local and wide area networks.
The successful Senior Network Engineers will have experience in the following:
* Expertise in network security, enterprise proxy and load balancing systems.
* Strong background in deploying and supporting enterprise network systems.
* Leadership in network design, planning and support, with demonstrated ability to manage risks and contingency planning.
* Ability to optimise technology infrastructure and drive adoption of automation tools.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement, documentation and problem‐solving skills.
