A plant supervisor is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a manufacturing plant, ensuring that production targets are met on time, and within budget. The individual in this role oversees the work of plant personnel, including technicians, engineers, maintenance workers, and other support staff, to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing plant
Ensure production targets are met on time, and within budget
Supervise the work of plant personnel, including technicians, engineers, maintenance workers, and other support staff
Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to management
Ensure all safety precautions are taken and plant equipment is maintained in optimal condition
Maintain accurate records of production, inventory, and other relevant data
Prepare reports on plant performance, including productivity, efficiency, and quality
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements
