About the Role
* Provide timely and accurate technical support to staff, students, and visitors in teaching laboratories.
* Maintain and repair laboratory equipment and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
* Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and WHS requirements across all teaching facilities.
* Contribute to a positive teaching environment by preparing spaces and resources for classes and activities.
* Support continuous improvement of procedures, manuals, and operational protocols to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
* Experience working in a scientific or research laboratory with familiarity across common equipment.
* Understanding of WHS legislation and its application in laboratory environments.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to customer-focused service.
* Qualifications and experience consistent with HEWL 4 standards.
