Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a team as an Interim HR Manager for a period of three months. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day human resources operations, providing coaching and development where required, managing employee relations and industrial relations-related matters, and supporting site-based leadership and the CEO.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR, preferably from within the mining or heavy industrial sectors, with experience in managing teams and working in a country town. A comprehensive knowledge of the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards for Australia is essential.
Responsibilities:
* Day-to-day management of the team - providing coaching and development where required
* Management of all employee relations and industrial relations-related matters
* Provision of support to all site-based leadership and the CEO
* Management of the HR strategic plan and ensuring tracking of all key deliverables
* Design and development of HR initiatives for best practice
Requirements:
* Qualifications and experience in HR, preferably from within the mining or heavy industrial sectors
* Experience in managing teams and working in a country town
* Comprehensive knowledge of the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards for Australia
About the Role:
This is a temporary position, available immediately, with a salary range of $80-$100 per hour. The role can be offered as residential for three months or on a 5:2 FIFO roster. Reporting to the CEO, you will be part of a team of 8, responsible for managing the day-to-day human resources operations and providing support to site-based leadership and the CEO.
