About the role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Internal Account Manager to join our dynamic team at McKillop Insurance Brokers located in Launceston, Tasmania. As an Internal Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and managing a portfolio of commercial and domestic clients. This role could be either full time or part time for the right person.
What you'll be doing
* Provide professional and personalised assistance to our clients, handling all policy-related inquiries and requests in a timely and efficient manner
* Manage the full policy lifecycle, including renewals, endorsements, and cancellations
* Conduct regular client reviews to ensure their insurance coverage remains appropriate and up-to-date
* Liaise with insurance providers to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and resolve any policy-related issues
* Maintain accurate and detailed client records, ensuring all documentation is properly filed and accessible
* Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell additional products and services to existing clients
* Provide support and assistance to the broader sales and account management team as needed
What we're looking for
* Relevant experience:Experience in a similar customer-facing role within the insurance industry, preferably in a brokerage environment
* Industry qualification:ANZIIF Tier 1 accreditation
* Strong communication skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts clearly and concisely
* Attention to detail:Meticulous and organised, with a keen eye for detail to ensure accurate policy documentation and client records
* Problem-solving skills:Ability to quickly identify and resolve client issues, while maintaining a calm and professional demeanour
* Commitment to customer service:Passion for providing exceptional customer service and building long-term relationships with clients
