Learning & Development Manager
A Senior Training Specialist Position
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in designing, developing, and facilitating training programs that drive team performance, enhance guest experience, and foster a culture of excellence.
About the Role
* Design and execute comprehensive learning and development strategies to align with brand standards.
* Conduct thorough training needs assessments and develop targeted learning roadmaps for departments and roles.
* Facilitate engaging onboarding programs that embody our unique culture, vision, and service philosophy.
* Deliver in-person and virtual training sessions on luxury service, leadership development, compliance, and brand standards.
* Collaborate with the Director of People & Culture to create career path programs and individual development plans to nurture high-potential talent.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement effective training programs that meet business objectives.
* Support departmental trainers and leaders in delivering consistent on-the-job training and coaching.
* Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, performance metrics, and ROI analysis.
* Partner with People & Culture and leadership teams to address performance gaps and training needs.
* Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field.
* At least three years of experience in training or learning and development, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel.
* Proven ability to design and facilitate effective training programs.
* Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Possess a gracious, friendly, and fun demeanor.
* Proven team leader with a high level of energy and motivation.
