We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Technician to join our team and provide essential day‑to‑day support across our infrastructure and applications.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems, liaising with staff across multiple locations, and overseeing network and server infrastructure. A key responsibility of this role will be to monitor and manage the Dealer Management Systems (DMS) (Pentana, TUNE/Revolution).
This is a full‑time role based at our Springwood office, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- DMS Management: Oversee and manage the Pentana, TUNE/Revolution Dealer Management Systems to ensure smooth operation.
- Google Workspace Enterprise Administration: Manage and maintain Google Workspace applications including user access and email accounts.
- Network & Infrastructure Monitoring: Monitor and maintain key network components and server infrastructure.
- Automotive manufacturer portal user administration.
- Hardware & Software Maintenance: Support and maintain desktop and server hardware, operating systems, and applications.
- Hardware & network security: identify and resolve any security related issues, maintain security software on company devices.
- Collaboration with Suppliers: Work closely with external suppliers and contractors for technical support.
- Staff Support: Build strong relationships with internal staff to understand and address their IT needs.
Key Requirements :
- 5+ years of experience providing IT support in a motor dealership environment.
- Hands‑on experience with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) (Essential).
- Proficiency in Google Workspace Enterprise administration.
- Solid experience in desktop support, including server, network, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Robust working knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, Windows Server OS).
- Experience with Linux server OS environments.
- Management of group phone systems and Yealink handsets.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
- Solid communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non‑technical staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and support a variety of IT systems and functions.
- Travel between group sites in Queensland, New South Wales & Victoria when required.
- Some out of hours work may be required from time to time.
Additional Skills (Desirable) :
- Datacentre access procedures.
- Experience in virtualization (VMware or similar platforms).
- Microsoft terminal services/RDS administration.
- Ubiquiti Unifi network experience.
- Knowledge of IT security best practices.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
