Are you a passionate and experienced midwifery academic ready to shape the future of midwifery education?
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Lecturer (Midwifery) to join out dynamic team and inspire the next generation of midwives

About The Role

Operating within Midwifery (Brisbane), the Senior Lecturer (Midwifery) provides academic leadership in the school by undertaking coordination responsibilities and/or other leadership portfolios as required. This includes:

Making significant contributions to the learning and teaching scholarship and/or research performance of the School
Developing and delivering lecture, tutorial and laboratory classes
Contributing to the academic and administrative functions of the school, and
Supporting students in both classroom and clinical settings to ensure they graduate as confident, compassionate, and competent midwifery professionals.

What We Offer

The University pursues an excellence agenda and offers an environment where staff are welcomed and safe, and valued through development, participation and involvement.
Total remuneration valued to $178,482 - $193,772 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $151,018 - $164,087 (pro rata) pa (Academic Level C), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
