Our client is a highly regarded Fund Manager
***with significant funds under management (FUM) from both retail and institutional clients, with a strong global presence.
A unique opportunity has become available and they are looking for an Investor Services and Reporting Associate to join the Sydney team.
Working in the middle office team of this boutique investment manager, you will be the primary team member responsible for the day to day client servicing and unit registry functions supplied by their outsourced registry provider. This person will also ensure reporting and communication flows are effective and well maintained.
**Key Responsibilities of the Role**:
- First point of contact for unit registry activities and queries
- Manage and track the resolution of any registry issues
- Respond to client and adviser queries regarding trades and other related tasks
- Review monthly and quarterly investor communications
- Manage registry requirements as they arise
- Assist with general reporting including - compiling performance data, calculation of rebates, distribution and FYE reporting.
- Ad hoc reporting requirements to other internal teams
**To be successful you will have**:
- Previous experience in the financial services industry, ideally within the unit registry space. You may be working for a fund manager, custodian, outsourced registry provider
- Good technical knowledge of registry functions
- Sound understanding of managed fund processes
- Intermediate competency with Excel and Word
- Strong initiative and attention to detail
- Take pride in your work, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately
- Excellent communication and client service abilities
