The role Due to an internal secondment, an opportunity has arisen for a Property Accounting Manager to join the team. Reporting to the Head of Finance your responsibilities will include: Take full ownership of the property accounting function across a growing Australian portfolio Lead month end close, ensuring balance sheets are tight, reconciliations are clean, and reporting lands on time Drive high quality financial and management reporting, delivering clear insights to senior stakeholders Partner closely with offshore teams to ensure accuracy across billing, receivables, accruals and cash management Oversee tenant billing, arrears and cash flow, ensuring assets are financially optimised at all times Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles, challenging assumptions and improving accuracy across the portfolio Own audit delivery across the portfolio, including outgoings and trust accounts Identify inefficiencies and drive process improvements to lift performance and scalability Strengthen controls and governance, ensuring compliance with AASB, IFRS and internal standards Act as a key finance partner to property and senior leadership, influencing decisions with commercial insight About you To be considered for this role, you will ideally be CA/CPA qualified and 7 years total experience. Experience with residential, retail or commercial leases is essential along with a Property Accounting background.
