Key Responsibilities:
* Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments of children, young people, and families to identify strengths, needs, and risks.
* Individualized Care Planning: Develop and implement tailored care plans in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
* Crisis Intervention: Provide timely support during crises to ensure safety and stability.
* Advocacy: Advocate for clients to access necessary resources and services.
* Skill Development: Facilitate evidence-based parenting programs and workshops.
* Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external agencies to coordinate care.
Requirements:
* Degree in Social Work or Related Field: A degree in social work, psychology, social sciences or a related field is essential.
* Experience Working with Children and Families: Demonstrated experience working with children, young people and families in child protection, family support, or community services context.
* Understanding of Child Protection Legislation: Understanding of child protection legislation and out-of-home care frameworks is crucial.
* Strong Assessment and Communication Skills: Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
