Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and strategic
Supply Chain Manager
to lead our supply chain operations and optimize our end-to-end supply chain processes. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement, logistics, inventory, and distribution of products to ensure seamless supply chain efficiency. You will work closely with multiple internal teams, suppliers, and external partners to meet customer demands, minimize costs, and maximize operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supply Chain Strategy & Planning:
Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize processes, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain performance. Align supply chain objectives with broader business goals.
* Procurement & Supplier Management:
Oversee supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure favorable pricing, terms, and quality. Identify new suppliers, manage performance, and ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
* Inventory Management:
Ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained across warehouses and distribution centers, reducing excess stock while avoiding stockouts. Implement inventory forecasting methods to meet customer demand.
* Logistics & Distribution:
Manage logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and distribution. Optimize routes, reduce shipping costs, and improve lead times to meet customer delivery expectations.
* Process Improvement:
Continuously evaluate and improve supply chain processes through data-driven insights. Implement best practices in inventory management, order fulfillment, and demand forecasting to drive efficiency.
* Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Production teams to ensure the flow of materials aligns with business needs and demand forecasts. Ensure effective communication across departments regarding supply chain activities.
* Risk Management:
Identify potential risks in the supply chain (e.g., supplier disruptions, natural disasters, geopolitical issues) and develop mitigation plans to ensure continuity of supply.
* Performance Metrics:
Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of supply chain operations. Report on supply chain performance, including cost reduction, inventory turns, on-time delivery, and order fulfillment rates.
* Budget & Cost Control:
Manage the supply chain budget and control costs related to procurement, logistics, and inventory management. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process efficiencies.
* Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team. Provide guidance, training, and career growth opportunities for team members to build a strong department.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCMP) is a plus.
* Experience:
Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or procurement, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
* Knowledge of Supply Chain Principles:
Strong understanding of supply chain functions such as procurement, inventory management, distribution, and logistics. Familiarity with lean manufacturing and just-in-time principles.
* Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify and solve complex supply chain issues. Proficiency in data analysis and supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS).
* Negotiation Skills:
Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills. Ability to secure favorable terms and build long-lasting partnerships.
* Project Management:
Experience managing supply chain projects from planning to execution, including cross-functional collaboration and resource management.
* Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and senior management.
* Attention to Detail:
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
* Tech-Savvy:
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain management software.
* Leadership Skills:
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Desirable Skills (optional):

* Advanced Supply Chain Tools:
Familiarity with advanced supply chain tools or platforms, such as advanced planning and scheduling (APS) systems or transportation management systems (TMS).
* Global Supply Chain Management:
Experience managing global supply chains, including customs regulations, international logistics, and vendor management.
* Sustainability:
Knowledge of sustainability practices and their application within supply chain management.
* Agile Supply Chain:
Experience working with agile methodologies to improve supply chain responsiveness and flexibility.
