Lead a volunteer program that helps improve Victoria's prisons. Support volunteers and help them make a real difference. Work on issues that matter in a fast‐moving environment. Build strong relationships across government and the community. Fixed‐term, full‐time role for 3 years earning $116,413 - $140,849 per year, plus super.
What You Will Do
As senior program coordinator, you will coordinate the Independent Prison Visitor Scheme and support incident triage activities. You will help improve prison oversight while leading important program and reporting work.
You Will
* Manage a team and support high‐quality service delivery
* Lead the recruitment, training and support of volunteer independent prison visitors
* Coordinate important communications, events, reporting and consultation activities
* Monitor incidents, identify emerging issues and escalated matters when needed
* Prepare reports, briefs and advice for senior leaders and the Minister for Corrections
About You
* Hold a current Victorian driver licence
* Experience working with volunteers or in a not‐for‐profit setting is highly desirable

* Experience working in a dynamic and sometimes unpredictable environment
* Strong leadership skills and the ability to support team development
* Sound judgement, problem‐solving skills and the ability to manage sensitive information
* Ability to build productive relationships and work across different groups
