M&A Tax Senior Manager Up to 180k l Hybrid l Sydney An opportunity is available for an experienced M&A Tax Manager or Senior Manager to join a growing Private Equity & Corporate M&A Tax practice. This role offers exposure to complex, high-value domestic and international transactions and the chance to work closely with senior leaders in a collaborative, high-performing environment. You will advise private equity, venture capital and corporate clients across the full transaction lifecycle, supporting their strategic investments, acquisitions and exits in Australia and offshore. Key responsibilities Provide M&A tax advisory across tax due diligence, transaction structuring and implementation Advise on private equity and fund structuring, FIRB considerations and transaction documentation Prepare and review tax modelling, structuring papers and private binding ruling applications Act as a key point of contact for clients and external advisers including lawyers and investment banks Collaborate closely with partners, directors and broader deal advisory teams on transactions Build and maintain long-term client relationships and contribute to practice growth About you 4–8 years’ experience in M&A or deals tax within a professional services firm or law firm Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Accounting or Law, with CA, CTA or legal credentials Strong commercial understanding of M&A and private equity transactions Proven experience in tax due diligence and structuring, with a desire to deepen technical expertise Strong communication, project management and stakeholder engagement skills Collaborative, proactive and intellectually curious, with a genuine passion for tax What’s on offer Exposure to high-profile private equity and corporate transactions Access to experienced Partners and Directors with a strong focus on mentoring and development A supportive, inclusive and growth-oriented culture Flexible working arrangements and comprehensive wellbeing benefits Clear opportunities for career progression within a growing national practice
