About the Role
As part of ongoing national expansion, we're recruiting a Technical Sales Specialist to take ownership of a specialised portfolio focused on Large scale chromatography.
Reporting to the Product Line Manager, this is a hands‑on, commercially strategic role blending your technical expertise with strong sales acumen to drive growth across the Australian biopharma landscape.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to expand market share across Australia
* Identify and engage new prospects while nurturing relationships with existing clients in biopharma and biotech
* Build lasting partnerships with key scientific stakeholders, from R&D scientists to manufacturing leads
* Collaborate cross‑functionally with technical and support teams to ensure exceptional customer experience
* Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to inform strategic plans
About You
You're a science‑driven commercial professional with a passion for helping customers accelerate scientific and bioprocessing breakthroughs. Whether you've transitioned from the lab into sales or already excel in a technical sales role, you thrive on managing complex, solution‑focused conversations within the life sciences sector.
We're also open to outstanding candidates with a strong technical or academic background in bioprocessing, large‑scale chromatography, or purification, who are eager to apply their scientific expertise in a commercial environment.
What You Bring
* Tertiary qualifications in Biotechnology, Bioprocessing, Biochemistry, or a related Life Sciences discipline
* Proven success in technical B2B sales, particularly selling laboratory or bioprocess equipment
* Solid understanding of purification processes or broader bioprocessing experience
* Strong business development skills with the ability to influence technical and non‑technical stakeholders
* Excellent planning, time management, and organisational skills
* A current driver's license and flexibility to travel as required across your territory
