Your new role
You will take ownership of the firm's operations and play a key role in its growth. This is a leadership position where you will manage systems, people, and processes to deliver speed, accuracy, and exceptional client experience.
* Oversee job allocation, deadlines, and resource planning to ensure smooth delivery.
* Set clear expectations, monitor performance, and coach staff for higher productivity.
* Manage onboarding, offboarding, and client satisfaction programs
* Ensure ATO/ASIC lodgements, trust account management, and professional standards are met.
* Monitor WIP, recovery rates, billing, and debtor control to maintain profitability.
* Drive digital transformation using Xero, FYI, and other cloud tools for faster turnaround.
* Oversee recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and leave management.
* Prepare management reports and contribute to budgeting and growth planning.
What you'll need to succeed
* 5+ years in an accounting firm
* Proven experience in practice management or senior operations
* Strong knowledge of Xero, ASIC or ATO and practice management tools
* Leadership skills and a process-driven mindset
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
