As a Civil Project Engineer & Site Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of site execution and technical coordination, ensuring quality delivery on one of Canberra’s most significant infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting in the planning and execution of daily site activities, ensuring alignment with the project’s scope, schedule, and safety requirements. Providing the construction team with technical advice, including the interpretation of drawings, specifications, and design details. Monitoring and tracking project progress, maintaining accurate site records, and contributing to weekly progress reports and cost control. Collaborating with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure timely delivery of works to the required quality and safety standards. Promoting and enforcing safety, environmental, and quality procedures in all on-site activities, in line with both project and regulatory requirements What are we looking for you to bring to the team: A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline. Previous site-based experience on major building projects. Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project documentation, and Where applicable, evidence of tertiary qualifications and proof of right to work will be required prior to successful appointment.
