Occupational Health Medical Practitioner
The practice is seeking a highly skilled medical practitioner to join their team in Mackay. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational healthcare services, conducting pre-employment medicals, and managing workplace injuries.
About the Role:
* Provide expert-level occupational healthcare services to workers, adhering to best practice standards.
* Assess potential workers before employment, verifying medical history, conducting basic examinations, risk assessments, and making recommendations to employers regarding suitability for proposed roles.
* Medically manage workplace injuries to achieve effective and efficient return-to-work outcomes.
Key Requirements:
* Full unrestricted registration with AHPRA.
* Ideal Examining Medical Officer (Coal Board Medical) qualification or willingness to complete this training.
* Medical Indemnity insurance.
* Valid National Police Clearance.
