A leading infrastructure investor and developer is seeking a Senior Associate or Associate Director to join its investments team, focused on the origination and execution of complex, greenfield social infrastructure transactions.
This is a core deal team role, working across PPP and availability-based projects in the social infrastructure space, with responsibility for driving transactions from bid phase through to financial close and into delivery.
The position sits within the investment team and will suit candidates with strong transaction experience who are looking to take ownership of commercial workstreams and contribute directly to investment outcomes.
The Opportunity
You will play a key role across multiple live transactions, taking ownership of discrete workstreams and supporting senior deal leads across all aspects of execution.
This includes:
* Leading commercial workstreams across PPP-style transactions, coordinating inputs across sponsors, lenders, contractors and advisors
* Managing deal processes through bid phase, negotiation and financial close
* Working across both project and financing documentation with a focus on commercial outcomes
* Supporting oversight of financial modelling, structuring and return analysis (including sensitivities and scenario testing)
* Contributing to investment papers and internal approvals
* Supporting the transition of projects from financial close into delivery and operations
Candidate Profile
We are seeking high‑calibre candidates from infrastructure investing or advisory environments including from the legal side (only with significant exposure to PPP lending or PPP investing exposure or potentially from greenfield renewables exposure), with experience across complex, structured transactions.
Relevant backgrounds include:
* Project finance or infrastructure advisory (investment banking or specialist advisory firms)
* Project finance / infrastructure lawyers seeking to transition into a principal‑side investment role
