About the Role
As an Information Release Support Officer you will play a key role in delivering efficient and effective information release services across the department. This includes managing requests under the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act 1991, National Redress Scheme (NRS), Information Privacy Principles, government circulars, court orders and associated legislation.
You will work closely with stakeholders across the department to coordinate the identification, location retrieval and provision of responses that are accurate, timely and compliant. Your ability to build strong working relationships and facilitate thorough, high-quality searches will be essential in supporting the department's obligations and commitment to transparency.

Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed, which must be renewed every five years before expiry.
The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN–EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course, which will need to be updated every three years.

Remuneration
ASO4 $76,561 – $80,256 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) and leave loading.
