Are you a passionate and skilled RN ready to make a real difference in surgical care? Yarrawonga Health is seeking a dedicated Perioperative Registered Nurse to join our dynamic and supportive team.
Responsibilities
* Provide perioperative nursing care across medical and surgical units as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Support high-quality, patient-centred perioperative services in a collaborative environment.
* Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to continuous improvement in perioperative care.
Classification
Registered Nurse Grade 2 (YP2–YP11) Based on experience and qualifications.
Qualifications Required
* Current Nursing Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Key Selection Criteria
* Essential: Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) competency
* Completed Blood Safe modules
* Proven clinical knowledge and skills relevant to acute and medical/surgical services
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time and priorities effectively
* Adaptability to work in a changing environment with a focus on continuous improvement
* Competency in using clinical and administrative computer systems
* Well-developed problem-solving skills
* Demonstrated ability to manage resources effectively
* Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in either a generalist or specialist clinical area
Desirable
* Minimum two years' experience in a relevant clinical setting
* Membership of a relevant professional nursing body
