The primary role of the Warehouse Assistant includes the receiving and processing of incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders and managing, organising, and retrieving stock in the warehouse.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensure all orders are processed efficiently and that the delivery of materials meets customers’ expectations and business timelines.
• Pick items according to the Warehouse Business requirements FMCG.
• Inspect items to ensure they’re not damaged or faulty.
• Pack products with high standards, ensure they are ready for next day delivery.
• Assist with Pre-Loading drivers van for next day delivery.
• From Time to time may have to assist with Deliveries
• Assist with sorting, counting, receiving into WMS and palletising of stock in the warehouse between production and distribution.
• Assist with stock replenishment, ensuring stock levels on picking shelves are maintained and monitors stock inventory.
• Perform stocktakes bi-annually on all products in the warehouse, as well as participate in scheduled cycle counts.
• Maintain a protected and clean workspace and environment
• Wears PPE
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and transport companies as and when required in a timely manner.
• Undertake necessary training to operate warehouse machinery.
• Forklift license and operation (or willing to get license)
• Driver’s License and Good Knowledge or Sydney Metropolitan areas
General duties of all team members:
• Assist with seasonal events including trade show bump in and bump out, as needed
• Other duties as assigned by Management
