Electrical Maintenance Technician

* We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team based in Scotland.
* This role covers a vast area of the country, from the north to the central belt, and involves conducting regular inspections and maintenance on trunk road facilities.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical faults efficiently to minimize disruptions to road users.
* They will collaborate with a team of skilled professionals to ensure safe operation of critical infrastructure elements.
* The Electrical Maintenance Technician will also be responsible for implementing electrical system upgrades and enhancements for these projects.
* Strictly adhering to safety standards and regulations is essential to upholding public and team safety.
* Providing technical expertise and recommendations for continuous improvements is also a key aspect of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on trunk road facilities.
* Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently.
* Collaborate with a team of skilled professionals to ensure safe operation of critical infrastructure elements.
* Implement electrical system upgrades and enhancements.
* Adhere to safety standards and regulations.

Requirements:

* Full approval as an Electrician with relevant certifications and licenses.
* Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to perform under demanding conditions.
* Strong teamwork and communication skills.
* In-depth knowledge of electrical safety regulations and practices.
* Will to work in various conditions, including heights and confined spaces.
* A fully approved UK driving licence.
