The Business Improvement Manager provides strategic and operational leadership to deliver business improvement initiatives and operational projects across the Strategy, Planning and Infrastructure Services portfolio. The role is responsible for the initiation, planning, implementation and evaluation of portfolio‑wide projects and improvement activities, with a focus on enhancing systems, processes and business services to support efficient operations and the achievement of strategic objectives.

The Strategy, Planning and Infrastructure portfolio provides leadership in the development, integration and delivery of CHHHS's strategic and clinical planning, ensuring health services are aligned with current and future community needs.
The portfolio is responsible for the planning, development and delivery of capital infrastructure, as well as the maintenance, repair and lifecycle management of health facilities across the Hospital and Health Service.
Through a strong focus on system integration, long‑term planning and infrastructure investment, the portfolio ensures that health services are future focused, and that facilities and infrastructure are fit for purpose, safe and capable of supporting contemporary models of care and service delivery.
The portfolio plays a critical role in enabling sustainable, high‑quality healthcare outcomes by aligning strategic direction, infrastructure capability and operational service delivery priorities.

About your role:
* Planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating strategic and operational projects and activities relating to Strategy, Planning and Infrastructure Services including but not limited to redesigning services; implementing new services, systems and process improvements and developing reporting dashboards to track operational performance, outcomes, and key performance indicators.
* Working collaboratively with the Directors of Strategy, Planning and Infrastructure and other stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and to develop, implement, support and drive initiatives and projects that enhance the delivery of high-quality, efficient and effective health services.
* Preparing and assisting other staff in Strategy, Planning and Infrastructure Services with the preparation of high-quality briefing papers, business cases, communication materials, data analysis and project progress reports and post-project implementation reviews as required.
