**Job Overview**
Seamstress is responsible for mending. Altering material items used in hotel, uniform, linen and guest clothing, and maintaining all uniform is in good condition at all times.
She/He also responsible for receiving, sorting and distributing clean uniform to personal according to Forbes and Hotel standard. She/He should be able to effectively communicate verbally and written with other employee in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner follow by the Forbes Standard requirement.
**Key Responsibilities**
- To execute simple tailoring as per guest request
- Altering and mending team uniform.
- To ensure all sewing supplies required are available at all times.
- To coordinate with Executive Housekeeper or Assistant Executive Housekeeper for billing requirements of tailoring request of guest room and colleague request.
- To carry out minor repair on room and F&B linen in order to prolong the life of linen.
- Checks sewing machine and overlocker at all times.
- Checks all the team uniform if any damaged or button to be change or missing.
- Perform timely repairs on all items of uniform, linen and upholstery.
- To count and check that Guest laundry & Dry-Cleaning items correspond with the completed Laundry & Dry-Cleaning docket.
- To liaise with Laundry Service Provider in relation to special requirement, special attention guests and VIP.
- To receive soiled/dirty uniform items, separating laundry and dry cleaning, ensuring that they are appropriately accounted for.
- Inform Housekeeping coordinator when found that linens and uniforms have reached minimum number of operation PAR stock.

- Experiences in similar role at luxury hotels/resorts
- Excellent interpersonal skills with personable character, a team player and good at cultivating guest relations.
- Basic command of written and spoken English
