About the role Lead and manage the day-to-day activities of the Regional Office to ensure the efficient and effective use of resources and delivery of high-quality services that meet the needs of clients and the community.
Develop key relationships with internal and external stakeholders including the private profession, legal assistance providers and the courts.
Conduct a legal practice as other priorities permit.
The Albury office of Legal Aid is located in downtown Albury.
The office is a busy mixed practice including specialist services who provide legal services to vulnerable people in Albury and surrounding towns.
Albury is a thriving regional centre sitting on the northern bank of the Murray River.
Albury is an agricultural and transport hub with an abundance of parklands including its botanic gardens and recreational facilities along the meandering course of the Murray River.

About you You are an experienced lawyer with proven leadership and management skills, confident in balancing a busy legal practice with office supervision and strategic planning.
You bring expertise in handling complex legal matters and demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering high-quality client service.
Your ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders sets you apart.
Management experience is essential, and you have a track record of mentoring and developing staff, driving service improvements, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
You thrive in dynamic settings and are motivated to lead with integrity and vision.
