We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead and oversee operations across our 5-branch restaurant group in Melbourne. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving profitability, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining the highest levels of customer service and food quality across all venues.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strategic leadership and oversee day-to-day operations across all 5 branches.
* Manage financial performance including budgets, P&L, forecasting, and cost control.
* Lead, train, and develop restaurant managers and staff to achieve business goals.
* Ensure consistent brand standards, food quality, and service excellence.
* Drive sales growth through marketing initiatives, promotions, and community engagement.
* Conduct regular branch visits and operational audits to maintain compliance and performance standards.
* Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management for branch-level leaders.
* Maintain strong customer relationships and handle escalated service issues.
* Report on business performance and recommend strategies for improvement to ownership.
Qualifications & Experience
* 5+ years in a senior management role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
* Proven multi-unit management experience (managing multiple venues or franchises).
* Strong financial acumen with P&L responsibility.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
