Amazing opportunity for a skilled lifestyle assistant to step up! Plan, implement and evaluate leisure & lifestyle programs Great support from the FM, CM and Lifestyle Assistants + volunteers! Lifestyle Coordinator
Currently seeking a Lifestyle coordinator with Aged Care experience to oversee a large sized facility within a wonderful organisation. You will have a passion for working with the elderly and enriching their lives with stimulating and engaging activities to maximise their well being.
In this role, you will be developing and implementing innovative programs with a creative flare to ensure that the residents are enjoying themselves. This organisation is resident focused in their approach to clinical care and would like someone to run their lifestyle program with the same approach.
Wonderful structure within the facility with a seasoned Facility Manager and Clinical Care Coordinator who you will report to, along with a dynamic nursing team.
You will gain wonderful experience developing program for a mix of high and low care residents.

Collaborate with residents, families, and staff to create personalised programs that cater to individual preferences. Continuously monitor and assess the success of lifestyle programs, making improvements to enhance resident engagement and satisfaction. Work closely with healthcare professionals to integrate lifestyle activities with residents' care plans. Oversee the scheduling and organisation of events, ensuring all activities are well-structured and properly resourced. Foster a positive, inclusive community atmosphere, encouraging active participation from residents. Maintain detailed records of activities, attendance, and feedback, and provide regular reports to management. Coordinate and support the Volunteer Program to enhance resident experiences. Requirements Minimum Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (or equivalent). Current Police Record Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS screening. Level II First Aid Certificate. Previous experience in a lifestyle role Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A creative and proactive approach to developing engaging and meaningful activities. Genuine empathy, patience, and commitment to enhancing the lives of elderly residents.
