**Job Title:** Culinary Team Lead
Key Responsibilities:
* We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Team Lead to assist in the implementation and maintenance of programs to ensure high standards of cleanliness and organization within the kitchen.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for leading employees by setting a positive example and working closely with the Executive Chef to prepare menus and ensure adequate supplies.
* Liaising with Restaurant staff regarding menu items, additions, and relevant changes is also an essential aspect of this role.
* In the absence of the Executive Chef and Sous Chef, the Culinary Team Lead will supervise the kitchen and delegate duties to kitchen employees to meet service demands.
* Maintaining excellent presentation standards and cost control for all food and beverage outlets while adhering to recipe standards is crucial.
* The ideal candidate will have experience preparing and presenting menu items showing variety and flair within specified cost margins.
* Ensuring strict stock rotation and minimum wastage through implemented and maintained stock control procedures is vital.
* This role also involves working with and coordinating the work of apprentices in the preparation and production of food as required.
* Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment and ensuring equipment is serviced and cleaned to WH&S standards is also essential.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
* Proven ability to lead teams and maintain high standards of quality and safety
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records and reports
