Job Description:
* We are seeking an experienced Service Engineer with excellent IT skills to join our team. You will be responsible for providing remote and phone support, remote diagnosis, testing, and breakdown repairs to our clients.
* Our ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, be able to communicate technical issues effectively, and have experience working in a customer-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain effective relationships with customers by gaining their respect and trust.
* Proactively complete PM tasks according to service contracts.
* On-site repairs, surgical microscopes, diagnostics, and installation of designated high-end products and software.
* Upgrade software and apply patches as necessary.
* Complete field service reports and related documentation.
* Strong troubleshooting skills, provide technical support for customers and escalate as necessary.
* May consult with other vendors to mutually agree on a resolution.
* Ability to communicate technical issues on a non-technical level.
Requirements:
* Formal qualifications in an electronic/ engineering/IT field.
* Experience in servicing precision equipment is required.
* Strong IT knowledge and awareness in PC-supported instrument diagnostics would be an advantage.
* A high level of computer literacy and networking is essential with the ability to work unsupervised.
* Past proven experience in a customer-oriented environment with exceptional customer service and the ability to deal with difficult situations and customers.
