This is a fully remote, casual contract position offering flexibility and the opportunity to work closely with early-stage and scaling businesses. Expected hours initially are 5 - 15 per week.
A fast-growing R&D Consultancy with a client base of innovative, high-growth companies is looking for a Consultant to support increasing demand. With a strong pipeline of clients across technology, data, biotech and emerging industries, the business is experiencing steady, organic growth and is now expanding the team.
The Role
This position will initially focus on managing inbound enquiries and running discovery-style conversations with prospective and existing R&D clients.
Key responsibilities include:
* Handling inbound calls and enquiries from new leads relating to R&D tax incentives
* Running short discovery calls to understand client needs and challenges
* Asking practical, high-level questions to assess suitability
* Identifying gaps or issues in client situations
* Supporting the client journey pre and post-onboarding
* Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and client experience
Over time, the role will evolve to include more ownership of client interactions and involvement in the broader advisory process.
About You
* Strong communicator with a friendly, engaging personality
* Naturally curious and confident, asking questions
* Able to think commercially and identify key information quickly
* Interest in start-ups, innovation and high-growth businesses
* Comfortable working autonomously in a remote environment
* Available for 1 to 3 days per week with flexibility during business hours
R&D or technical tax experience is not required and will be developed through the training process.
