As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of operations and maintenance activities. This includes supervising contractors, coordinating building and maintenance programs, and ensuring that all service systems are functioning correctly.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Ensuring timely completion of scheduled maintenance tasks
* Carrying out routine housekeeping inspections and plant condition inspections
* Conducting monitoring and measurement activities as required
* Assisting with procurement of spares and consumables
* Completing site documentation, including registers and service documentation
* Maintaining Access Card and Key Register
You will work closely with the team to ensure effective risk management practices are in place and a safe working environment is maintained.
This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent computer skills, and high organisational abilities. The successful candidate will have experience in facilities management, laboratory environments, or related fields.
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Experience working in operational or laboratory environments
* Strong leadership skills, with the ability to train and manage teams
* Excellent computer skills, high level of organisational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
* Experience with purchase ordering systems and CMMS software
* TAFE level qualifications in laboratory/scientific field (desired)
* Permit to Work training and focus on Health and Safety
