The Opportunity
We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic individuals with a strong customer focus to fill the role of a Theatre Assistant. As a Theatre Assistant, you will be working in the theatre department with responsibilities including:
* Working with and assisting clinical staff
* Setting up operating theatre equipment and other specialty stock for theatre cases for the coming days theatre lists
* Ensuring safe positioning of the patient for surgery

Skills and Experience
An interest in patient care is essential to succeed in this role. You will have excellent communication skills and a willingness to develop a working knowledge of hospital procedures. You will be a motivated, positive individual and demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
You will also bring:
* Certificate III or Certificate IV Level in relatable field or AIN Certificate
* Preferable experience as a Theatre Assistant or similar role
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to work effective within a team environment and independently
* Excellent patient and customer service focus
* Be available for a range of shifts
