Lead, support, coach, and develop a team of Cabin Crew and customer service professionals that operate onboard our aircrafts, fostering a collaborative, empowered, and high-performing culture aligned with Virgin Australia's values, policies, and KPIs.ResponsibilitiesInspire and motivate Cabin Crew to deliver memorable experiences to every customer, every day.Ensure the team meets operational targets, safety regulations, and performance metrics while maintaining high service quality.Embed and lead a positive people culture in line with the Virgin Australia Group's strategic vision and purpose.Facilitate performance management meetings, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures and Fair Work.Ensure team members adhere to the Enterprise Agreement (EA), workplace regulations, and company policies.Support investigations into workplace incidents, grievances, and disciplinary matters, ensuring fair and compliant processes.Manage health and wellbeing of Cabin Crew, including leading return-to-work processes, injury management, and liaising with relevant stakeholders.Support day-to-day operations as required to ensure performance metrics are met.What you need to be successfulMinimum year 12 qualification or equivalentLeadership experience in leading large diverse teams in a fast-paced businessPrevious experience working in the aviation industry, ideally in Cabin Crew or a Crew Leadership positionAlternatively, Human Resources experience is advantageous when coupled with experience leading teamsExperience with running performance management processes and leading remote teamsTrusted people leadership capabilityDemonstrated ability to influence and engage business leadersEmotional intelligence and the ability to read, monitor and respond to behaviours to drive positive outcomesAbility to drive positive customer outcomes through a large diverse workforceGood understanding of working to the scope of an Enterprise Bargaining AgreementWhy join Virgin Australia?
