The Project The
Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture (RRJV)
is a 50/50 joint venture between CPB Contractors and Downer, delivering a major $1.7 billion redevelopment program to support Defence capability for the next 30 years.

Your Opportunity We are seeking motivated
Senior Project Engineers, Project Engineers & Site Engineers
to join our high‑performing project delivery team.
In these roles, you will play a key part in safely and efficiently delivering works on site—monitoring progress against program, resolving engineering and technical issues, managing subcontractors, and supporting cost, quality and schedule outcomes while promoting a strong zero harm safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
Actively contribute to a strong safety culture and ensure works are delivered to legislative and project requirements
Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications and methodologies
Plan and coordinate daily works with supervisors and Subcontractors to achieve agreed outcomes
Ensure project delivery is compliant with project standards, quality requirements and technical specifications
Monitor and manage allocated work packages, including resources, cost and productivity
Maintain accurate records, documentation and reporting
Support cost management and contribute to achieving project targets
(Senior Project Engineers will also provide leadership to junior engineers and play a greater role in planning, coordination and commercial decision‑making.)
About You You will bring:
A tertiary qualification in Engineering
Experience within the built project environment
Strong subcontractor management and coordination skills
High‑quality written and verbal communication skills
The ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required, with eligibility to obtain and maintain Baseline Security Clearance.
(Senior Project Engineer roles require demonstrated experience delivering complex work packages whilst leading and mentoring engineering teams.)
