HardRok Engineering Pty Ltd is an Engineering Fabrication & Project company based in Mount Isa, Queensland.
We are currently seeking an experienced hands-on Fabrication Workshop Supervisor to join our team.
The role includes analyzing engineering drawings, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare cost estimates for products, projects, and services. Supervise and manage the day to day running of the Fabrication & Maintenance Workshop.
This is a varied role; some duties and responsibilities include:
* Review of project specifications to determine material and labour requirements
* Liaise, while working alongside the Engineering, Sales, and Operations team to pro-actively seek solutions for timely and compliant jobs
* Identify and grade potential risks and assess all potential non conformances
* Calculate estimation costings
* Adhere to all Internal Continuous Improvement Processes
* Ensure internal and external customers are kept up to date with accurate and relevant information as required
* Quality Assurance
The successful applicant will ideally possess the following:
* Must be Trade Qualified in a fabrication trade
* Steel fabrication experience
* Computer Literacy essential, and Basic Drafting Skills Advantageous
* Solid knowledge of metal fabrication parts and molded parts of different materials
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* High level communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of the business
* Desirable Mining Industry experience
* Improve workshop profitability through implementation of world's best workshop practices
* Eye for detail

This position is Mt Isa based, although assistance may be considered during a trial period, and relocation for the ideal candidate. Salary will be based on experience and discussed during interview process.
